At Hive Happy Honey, we believe that great honey starts with healthy bees, honest beekeeping, and a passion for sharing nature's sweetest gift.

 

Founded by Ellie and Jacob Marshall, Hive Happy Honey is a family-owned apiary based in Polk County, Florida. What began as a spontaneous idea quickly grew into a thriving business built on hard work, education, and a love for agriculture. Today, we proudly care for our bees across multiple apiary locations and provide raw, local honey and handcrafted beeswax products to families throughout Central Florida.

 

Our honey is harvested the traditional way—raw, unfiltered, and never heated—allowing it to retain the natural flavor, pollen, enzymes, and goodness that make local honey so special. From our signature wildflower varieties to our handcrafted beeswax and tallow products, every item is made with quality and integrity at the forefront.

 

As first-generation beekeepers, we've learned firsthand the importance of supporting pollinators and protecting local ecosystems. We are passionate about educating our community, promoting sustainable beekeeping practices, and helping people connect with where their food comes from.

 

Meet Ellie & Jacob

 

We're Ellie and Jacob, the husband-and-wife team behind Hive Happy Honey.

 

What started as a simple conversation during a road trip turned into a life-changing adventure. After learning about beekeeping and the vital role honey bees play in our environment, we decided to take a leap of faith and start our own apiary. We purchased our first hives in 2023 and haven't looked back since.

 

Together, we manage every aspect of Hive Happy Honey—from caring for our bees and harvesting honey to creating products, attending markets, building relationships with local retailers, and sharing our passion with the community.

 

Our mission is simple: provide pure, local honey and thoughtfully crafted products while supporting healthy pollinator populations and educating others about the incredible world of bees.
